Vinyl: The Doors Self Titled LP Elektra EKL4007 1967 Monarch 1st Pressing Mono Misprint

As mentioned above,

Original 1st “Monarch” press with the “Oher” missprint on the side 1 label…Vinyl is a strong VG+, some light scuffs & “hairlines” but probably the best of these I’ve had..nice deep black color, labels look fantastic, bright gold color, no extra writing or marks..Cover is VG, some light ring wear and creasing along the bottom edge, small ding bottom right corner…includes correct Elektra inner sleeve with the “7, Poland Street - London” address…

Wow, probably the best audio recording of this LP I’ve heard..the drums and vocals, particularly, sound like they’re in your living room…very clear and punchy..usually the Monarch pressings were the best available at the time, and this one does not disappoint..No skips. Light static only during the quieter parts, but overall a great listening experience.
