Bing Crosby Merry Christmas 1945 Decca 4 Album Set 78 rpm A-550 AS IS PLS READ
- Iconic recordings of Bing Crosby singing favorite Christmas songs, including Irving Berlin's famous "White Christmas" as only Bing can sing it.
- Dated 1945, this set of 78 rpm records is Decca Album A-550, housed in a book-bound series of paper sleeves.
- The front cover features a smiling Bing Crosby among classic 1940s Christmas decorations and ornaments.
- The inside front cover of the set includes a wonderful article about Bing Crosby, as much a time capsule as the music recorded on these albums.
- NOTE: Original sides 5 and 6 are missing from the set, but the former owner substituted the missing (broken?) album with a similarly classic Christmas- themed recording: Perry Como singing White Christmas and Silent Night on an RCA Victor recording.
- Sides 7 and 8 also feature the Andrews Sisters joining Bing in "Jingle Bells" and "Santa Claus Is Coming to Town".
- While the original set of 8 sides is not complete, the positive is that this unique combination includes Bing Crosby, the Andrews Sisters, AND Perry Como in a collection of holiday music sure to put you in the Christmas spirit.
CONDITION:
- Please see photos for detailed views and best representation of condition.
- NOTE: set is missing sides 5 and 6, but includes a replacement album, an RCA Victor recording of Perry Como singing White Christmas and Silent Night (see photos).
- Cover shows signs of water damage, discoloring, some tearing and staining.
- The binding has been carefully reinforced by a former owner on the inside front and back.
- Original back cover appears to have been replaced.
- The album with sides 7 and 8 has a duplicate label for #7 on both sides.
- Records have not been play tested.

- Records are 10" diameter.
