Columbia Records and Legacy Recordings is celebrating over 60 Years of Mathis Magic with the release of The Voice of Romance: The Columbia Original Album Collection which is an expansive look at all the original albums that Johnny has recorded throughout his illustrious career. - Featuring 67 original remastered albums on CD plus his recently released album "Johnny Mathis Sings The Great New American Songbook", this collection is housed in a lift-off box and each box comes with a numbered certificate HAND-SIGNED by Johnny himself plus 200 page booklet with liner notes and rare photos. Most exciting is that The Voice of Romance box comes with the previously unreleased album I Love My Lady (w/ Nile Rodgers & Bernard Edwards) plus 25 albums available on CD for the very first Time as well as previously unreleased and rare tracks.

This is a FANTASTIC limited edition brand new CD box set. 68 albums and a hand signed numbered certificate inside. It was purchased from a major retailer.

**Important Note To Potential Buyers**: The shrink wrap torn has torn a little on the top and a lot on the bottom. I believe this probably occurred in shipping at some point. Because of the shrink wrap tearing, the cardboard advertisement on the bottom (that is not attached to the set) has bent a little bit in a couple of places on the top corners and is a bit worn looking as result. Most people throw this away anyway, but its something to be aware of if it is of importance to you. Please see listing photos of the box set for the damage mentioned.** Other than those things, its in great shape. I have seen other sets of this title with the shrink wrap intact but in much worse condition with dents and dings because of shipping damage.This set was not affected in that manner. People are sometimes having to return the sets multiple times to end up with a set that is not banged up in shipping.I will ship this protected with padding to try to avoid any damage to this wonderful box set.
