CD: Carpenters The Complete Singles 3 x CD Public Television 2015 Exclusive RARE

This CD set contains all of the USA singles. They were sourced from original single master tapes, with two exceptions. The first two mono tracks are sourced from original vinyl. This set was supervised by Richard Carpenter and Jim Pierson for PBS, and released through A&M/Universal Special Markets.

The sound quality is, of course, superb and pristine.

Some of the mixes of these tracks are on CD for the first time, including the first two mono tracks. They have different mixes from the album versions. This includes the rare “Santa Claus Is Comin’ To Town” in its 1974 single version and “Look To Your Dreams” shortened by eliminating Richard’s piano ending.
