GENERAL NOTE: I am selling from my private collection. As a collector, I mostly purchased new sealed CDs, those that were advertised as “mint” or very close to it, or those I found in a store that were in great condition. I generally passed on those that showed the significant wear commonly found in used CDs. However, if I happen to be selling what might be a “typical” used CD – obvious scuffing that does not affect play – I will expressly note it. In some cases I purchased used CDs from eBay that were advertised as “mint,” but on close inspection, there might be light scuffs or other minor imperfections. I generally did not raise an objection with these sellers. However as I list items for sale here, if I see an imperfection, I will note it in the description.
I knew these were collectible when I acquired them and they have all been handled with great care. Whenever I opened a new sealed CD, I stored the opened item in a resealable plastic sleeve to reduce the scuffing to the jewel box and to keep it in like-new condition. If I acquired a CD with some wear already, I would generally store it in a protective sleeve only if the jewel box was in extremely good condition. If there was normal scuffing, I saw no point in the sleeve.
All CDs have been stored in a smoke free environment in a cabinet manufactured specifically for storing CDs. Overall, I expect the quality and condition of the used CDs I have for sale to be much better than average.

I do my best to be open and honest in my approach and descriptions. However, I am putting several CDs up for sale. I take each one out to examine it as I write the description. However, since I am looking at several CDs, it is certainly possible for me to miss something minor. If you send me a specific question about a CD, I will pull it out and look at it before responding to you.
