Poster: Nirvana RARE original concert poster 12/01/88 The Underground - Seattle, WA
This is a very rare original (not a reproduction) 11”x17” poster/flyer/handbill for Nirvana’s 12/01/88 show at The Underground in Seattle, WA. Printed on thin paper stock, this poster is in near mint condition with a couple really minor wrinkles in the bottom left corner, a tiny wrinkle near the right edge in the middle inside the black border, and the bottom right corner has a very minor ding on it. The last three pictures are close-ups of these. No holes, rips, or tears anywhere. I noticed after I took the pictures that there is a small hair (not a defect) laying on the poster between the “D” in DOA and the second “f” in the word “Coffin”. This poster has never been hung or rolled up, and I’ve had it carefully stored flat since I bought it 23 years ago.
Nirvana was the opening act for Coffin Break, and DOA. There is scant information on this show available, but what it known can be found at https://www.livenirvana.com/concerts/88/88-12-01.php
