Here's an authentic PINK FLOYD ticket from 1968 at the Fillmore West, San Francisco.

The Fillmore:
This was from the period in the late 60's and 70's when Bill Graham owned and operated the Fillmore and Winterland venues in SF. He decided to have his own promotional posters designed to promote the concerts. First, he would choose an artist to draw and print a poster customized for each individual show. The tickets were just a reduced facsimile of the posters and then typically color-coded to indicate multiple night engagements. Back then, the Fillmore West and Winterland were rather busy venues that constantly held extended engagements by the then current and popular performers. So many well known bands played there. This was probably due to being located in SF, which became the focal point for psychedelic music and counterculture in general. San Francisco was the ultimate city for rock concerts and Bill was both a promoter and owner of the venues where they could play. So that he could reconcile sales each night, patrons purchased tickets at the venue box office and handed them right back over at the door, thus most ending up in the archive in EX or NM- condition. Today the original Fillmore in SF still operates with Live Nation having been leasing it and it is also expanding the Fillmore 'brand' by naming other venues it owns or leases around the country in cities such as Miami, Phili, Denver, Detroit, DC & NYC.
This was the very early days with Syd Barrett and several years before David Gilmour came along. The band members give Syd Barrett a lot of credit for the creation of their early psychedelic musical style. He was the main driving force initially, the founder and pioneer of the genre. This was following their first break out tour to the USA in 1967 but still new to the US. This ticket was printed for the planned October 1967 shows, only those were cancelled as the band had visa issues to enter the country. So, this ticket was likely used in the re-scheduled shows in early November or in July 1968.
The ticket measures roughly 2 1/2" x 4 1/2" and is in EX condition, just light handling wear on some corners and age related darkening. You can buy with confidence, I deal only in original authentic items.
