CD: The Doors - Live In New York 6-CD Box Set January, 1970 Complete & Near Mint

Once in a while, record companies get things right and release something for THE FANS and not just for the consumer. Case in point: The Doors Live In New York, 6-CD Box Set. All 4 shows performed by The Doors on January 17 & 18th, 1970. When this band wanted to they could REALLY turn it on....and boy, did they ever at the "Felt Forum" in New York City. An absolutely stunning document of how great this band could be. Long-time Doors engineer/producer Bruce Botnick expertly tweaked and equalized the audio and thoughtfully left all the space and in-between song chatter in to preserve the integrity and historical aspect of the event and recording. Though a shame these 4 concerts weren't filmed as well, having them in stunning high fidelity audio is certainly the next best thing. A MUST HAVE for all serious fans of this legendary band.
