This is an original 4-sided flyer for a music festival in Germany, which took place from September 4-6, 1970. It was called the "Love And Peace Festival" and it was held on the Isle Of Fehmarn in West Germany. Jimi Hendrix (along with Mitch Mitchell and Billy Cox) performed on the last day, September 6, 1970. The flyer measures about 12" x 17" when closed, or 24" x 17" when opened.
What makes this special is that this was Jimi's LAST official concert appearance. He died less than two weeks later. The concert itself was well documented, bootleged for years, and then officially released in 2007.
I believe the flyer is EXTREMELY rare. It's 55 years old, and it was distributed at an open-air festival, so who knows how many copies survive today. Other than a Bonham's auction from 2008, I could not find any other sale examples online.
Considering its age and the circumstances, it's in very good shape. Other than the obvious natural fold between the pages of the flyer, it has been folded over two more times, and I will fold it the same way for shipping. Every other image I found online has very similar folds. There are also three small pieces of tape along the bottom of the front page.
