STOP BREAKIN' DOWN BLUES
HONEYMOON BLUES

King of the Delta Blues, it is Robert Johnson from his last session in 1937. STOP BREAKIN' DOWN BLUES is a great Blues, which was later covered by Sonny Boy Williamson, Baby Boy Warren and the Rolling Stones.

Seldom offered for sale.

CONDITION: V this record has considerable play, groove wear and some needle marks. However, it is not a juke box 78 with deep wear. The label has a scratch on the HONEYMOON side, but not bad enough to penetrate the label.

Standard 78 Grading:

N- NEW MINUS - Highest grade used. Appears unplayed. Full luster. Slight signs of handling

E+ EXCELLENT PLUS - Full luster remains. Very few careful plays. Slightest indications of use or handling.

E EXCELLENT - Almost full luster. Mild signs of play, but no serious wear, scratches or scuffs.

E- EXCELLENT MINUS - Some luster remains, but record has some apparent wear, scuffs and / or scratches. Still a pretty nice 78, acceptable to most collectors.

V+ VERY GOOD PLUS - Record has considerable wear, scuff and / or scratches. Still plays pretty well but is clearly a used record. An AVERAGE USED 78 is in the V to V+ range.

V VERY GOOD - Mostly or fully gray from use. Obvious surface noise but probably still plays pretty well. Scuffing and / or scratches more prominent.

V- VERY GOOD MINUS - Further deterioration. Fully gray with deeper wear and heavy surface noise.

G GOOD - Very rough, deeply gray, surface noise about equal to music.

F FAIR - Really beat 78 that may skip. Surface noise exceeds music.
