This is the original Mono pressing with the four deleted tracks which were supposed to have been destroyed. The album comes In the standard album sleeve with the revised track selection. Rocks and Gravel and Let Me Die In My Footsteps replace Girl From the North Country and Masters of War on side one. Side two has Gamblin’ Willie’s Dead Man’s Hand and Talkin' John Birch Society Blues instead of Bob Dylan's Dream and Talking World War III Blues. You can also reference the pictures in this listing which shows the Side 1 third track is "A Hard Rain's A-Gonna Fall", where you can see that it is the widest band, since it is the longest song. On standard copies of this record, that track is sequenced last in the #6 position.

To reiterate, the labels and sleeve list the revised track listing that everyone is familiar with while the record itself plays the removed original songs. To date, Less than twenty of these have surfaced over the past 60 years.

This is the holy grail for any Dylan collector and have sold for anywhere from $7500 to over $35,000 for an even more rare Stereo copy.

Hear for yourself as I have uploaded two video files for the tracks. Given the numerous superficial scratches and scuffs, there is only light noise through several of the tracks, but there are no skips or jumps and the fidelity is amazing due to being such an early and limited pressing. I have been extremely thorough in making this accessible to you so that you know exactly what you're getting.

THERE IS A FEELABLE SCRATCH TOWARDS THE END OF TRACK ONE THAT CAUSES CLICKS FOR ABOUT 7 TO 10 SECONDS. THE REMAINDER OF SIDE ONE PLAYS NICELY WITH MINIMAL NOISE BUT THERE ARE LITTLE CLICKS THROUGH EACH OF THE SONGS IN SELECT SPOTS AS EXPECTED. - SIDE TWO LABEL IS IN EX CONDITION.

- THE FRONT COVER IS MOSTLY CLEAN WITH RUBBING RING WEAR THROUGHOUT AND THE UPPER LEFT CORNER IS MORE WORN THAN THE OTHER 3 CORNERS. NO SPLIT SEAMS

- SPINE HAS RUBBING WEAR BUT IS READABLE.

- THE BACK COVER IS MOSTLY CLEAN WITH RUBBING RING WEAR MAINLY AT THE TOP AND THE PRIOR OWNER'S NAME AT THE TOP LEFT CORNER. STAINING AT THE LOWER RIGHT CORNER.
