Please read entire listing description. Thanks

I found this tape when I bought a collection of Pittsburgh underground rap cassettes. I didn't think much of it at first until I listened to it. I couldn't believe that on the second track Dr. Dre was actually rapping and I never heard the song. I've come to discover that this tape contains unreleased material relating to Dr. Dre's classic album Chronic 2001.
I don't know the purpose or reason the tape exists. It's called Doc & Dr. because it features Pittsburgh, Hill District, rapper Doc Deezul or after his Aftermath name change Diesel.

Mel-Man. As most of you know Mel-Man was instrumental in the creation of Chronic 2001. He has co-producer credit on the album.
I'm thinking this tape must have some connection to Mel Man as he's from the Hill District in Pittsburgh, PA. He would scout local talent as he with fellow Hill District rapper Diesel.

The first track is "Raw Deluxe" (1998) by McKeesport rapper Dyce. The rest of the tracks are from Dr. Dre recording sessions.

Sound quality is not great. There are drops in a few areas, volume changes, noise. I'm sure buyer can figure out how to get the best out of this tape. The snippets video I uploaded to YouTube was recorded from my phone microphone so not a good representation. "What's The Difference" or "Hey You" will give you an idea of quality and level of noise. I recorded from decent quality NAD cassette deck into Behringer UCA222 and didn't process sound at all.

Side A
1. Dyce "Raw Deluxe" Awesome track from McKeesport rapper Dyce. Was he being considered for Aftermath or potentially brought on to 2001 project?

2. Dr. Dre "MONEY ICY"? same/similar beat as previously leaked "Throne is Mine". Dre has long verse and then unknown Jamaican/Carribean rapper is featured.

3. Dr. Dre "Hey You" produced by legends Tim & Bob. Standout track, never released or leaked. I only uploaded 2 verses out of 3.

4. Skit, story about leaving New York and heading to Pittsburgh that includes partial Mel-Man track. Dre previously worked with New York rappers Nas and was working with Jay-Z. Maybe he was trying to build some regional storyline.

5. Dr. Dre " What's the Difference" with Hittman and unknown rapper. Dre's verse is different than album. Hittman's verse previously leaked but new verse by unknown rapper. May be Diesel. No Eminem!

6. "Airwave Terrorists" featuring Hittman, Last Emperor, and Phish. Version 1 unfinished

7. Diesel "Hard Niggaz" Pittsburgh rapper signed to Aftermath.

8. "Airwave Terrorists" finished version with chorus vocals, intro, layered sounds. Excellent track.

Side Total about 30 minutes

Side B
There are 8 instrumentals. "What's the Difference" instrumental is really only one I recognized. I'm no expert on this matter. Lots of interesting stuff, mostly stripped down and simple, sketch like. I uploaded track #4 to YouTube. Listen to it.
