This beautiful autograph was obtained when I was in the front row of Elton's December 4, 2013 concert at Madison Square Garden.
I am a diehard Elton fan and have other autographed items, all obtained in person, including most of it personalized to me. I also have a posed photograph from when I was fortunate enough to meet my hero in person in November 2010. These can be sent to you via e-mail if that would secure your belief in the legitimacy of this piece.
As an expert on his autograph, it alarms me how many fake ones I find here on eBay, often selling for top dollar. Remember that a real autograph is generally scrawled, not carefully drawn.
Your money in this auction will go toward the defense fund of my friend Kevin, an unjustly convicted, adorable 25 year old gay man who is serving a disgusting, ridiculous prison sentence in Florida when he himself was the victim of a crime. His fiancé and I have secured an incredible lawyer to work on his appeal, but legal costs are 450/hour and no one among us can afford that without making sacrifices. I would never normally part with an Elton autograph. However, since I have others I can part with this one.
