Vinyl: Edgar Broughton Band Self-Titled LP UK 1st Issue GREAT PRESS [Ex/Ex-] "1G"

Vinyl (Ex/Vg+) In lovely condition and has clearly only seen careful light use. Take a close look at the labels and spindle hole. How many 50 year old records do you have that look like that? Under close inspection there's a couple of slight marks per side...nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an EXCELLENT level of playback with one deviation per side. It's pretty close on perfect. Intros and inbetweens are beautifully quiet and the audio comes across with excellent clarity. At worst I detected just some background in one track per side - nothing bad [E.g. Poppy [a]]. This track just won't play quite as clean as elsewhere. Other than that expect a super rendition. EBB are absolutely awesome and to do them proper justice you need an early quality copy. Sit back, crank it...and you are back in the early 70's!

Cover (Ex) And if the vinyl wasn't impressive enough the cover is looking pretty dandy for 50+ years! The owner must have been one fastidious individual a it's really well preserved. Usually the textured covers get very worn - this one is literally superb! Perfectly flat front and without the usual signs of handling. Look at the interior - wow! Edge wear is slight and the openings are still sharp. The only slight detraction - spine is 80% intact with text still mostly legible with some wear. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity.
