Vinyl: U2 Achtung Baby LP UK 1st Press [Ex/Ex] SUPER Audio! *EMBOSSED U2*

A genuine 1st press of Achtung Baby for the UK market. Nice solid pressing unlike later copies. You can find the very 1st copies in a waxy cover and the U2 ring has been embossed. Hype sticker top right on front. We also have the original inner and lyric insert too. So, 100% genuine and 100% complete.

Vinyl (Ex/Vg+) In great condition and has only seen light use. Under close inspection there are a couple of light marks per side - one does sound briefly. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a mostly EXCELLENT level of playback with a couple of deviations. Intros and inbetweens are lovely and quiet and the audio comes across with excellent clarity. Playing clean into all of those lowkey instrumental sections - highly addictive. Nothing at all in the background - clean as a whistle by and large. But there is a couple of small marks in 'the Fly'. You'll get a click early in the song as those chord strikes come in. There's a couple of ticks later in the track. The track still plays clean and is the only noticeable audible issue on the whole album. A couple of minor ticks as 'Blindness' comes in. Given the quality of payback - and it's a true 1st...I'd argue pretty darn impressive.

Cover (Ex) The cover is aces - always liked this one...and worth holding out for a true 1st. The colour retention is excellent with unworn surfaces. The U2 embossing looks great. Superb from all angles. Minimal edge wear and spine 99% intact. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity. A very fine example.

Inner(Ex/Ex+) No splits. Absolutely superb..

Insert (Ex/Ex-) No probs.
