CD: Merciless – The Treasures Within (CD, 1992) – Rare ORG pressing, near mint

I have been a collector of old-school death metal and thrash metal CDs since the early 1990s.

On sale here is the extremely rare first pressing of Merciless’s fantastic second album (produced by Tomas Skogsberg at Sunlight Studios), released in July 1992 by small British indie label Active Records. For fans of early Swedish death metal in the style of Entombed, Dismember, and Grave – although the style is more similar to death-thrash bands like (early) Sadus.

No bootleg!

Was kept in a smoke-free environment at all times.

I grade conservatively, using the Discogs grading system (G/G+/VG/VG+/NM)

• Disc NM : It looks perfect, like new!
• Paper inserts VG+ : The booklet is made of somewhat flimsy paper, which is why it has a few unavoidable signs of handling (small creases). It is fully intact and clean, however – no tears and no indentations!
• Jewel case VG+ : Even the original jewel case still looks very good. It still has the original distribution sticker on the back. No cracks, no stains, just the usual (moderate) shelf wear.
