Re-issue from Mobile Fidelity Sound Labs of concert originally performed on January 19, 1974 at Carnegie Hall in New York City. Mingus' band at the time was made up of George Adams on tenor, Hamiet Bluet on baritone, Don Pullen on piano and Dannie Richmond on drums. Guest artist included Jon Faddis on trumpet, plus (Mingus Alum) John Handy on alto and tenor. Rahsaan Roland Kirk is on tenor and stretch and Charles McPherson is on alto.
