RARE Original 1985 THE SMITHS MEAT IS MURDER Record Store Promo Poster 5ft x 39.5"
Exceptionally rare and HUGE record store promo poster from The Smith's MEAT IS MURDER album
featuring the single "That Joke Isn't Funny Anymore" released late 1985.
This very large poster was sent out to Wherehouse Records in Southern California and used in a store display,
then spent years on a teenagers wall and subsequently stored (not very carefully) for the next 30+ years.
There are condition issues with some spots, corner loss and wrinkles throughout and along the right side where the poster lay for all those years.
Many photos taken to document all the issues. There is a yard stick next to the poster to give an idea of the scale of this item.
This vintage poster is in good condition overall and once framed would make an
amazing display piece at 5 FEET tall and over 3 FEET wide.
