I purchased this classic Manchester album the week it came out in 1990 and it's been well looked after in my personal record collection ever since. The vinyl has been kept in an additional Japanese anti static sleeve that sits inside the printed inner sleeve. Not only does this help reduce the static, but it's helped keep the vinyl in truly excellent condition with barely a mark on it. I've have just cleaned it in my record cleaning machine with L'Art Du Son, award winning cleaning fluid, so it will now be in the best possible condition for the new owner. After cleaning I test played both sides all the way through on my Project Debut Carbon turntable fitted with Ortofon 2M Blue stylus. It's sounds awesome, especially cranked up loud where the dynamics really open up. Barely any surface noise, certainly no annoying clicks or pops, only the lightest warm vinyl crackle on the run in just before the music actually starts... otherwise plays through faultlessly on both sides.
