This book is used and has been read and looked at many times. The pages came loose and I had it rebound in 2013, please see the pictures. Also, the book has a strong old book smell after being stored for over a year! The book is still in good shape, but please look at the pictures to determine the condition yourself . In 1991, George Harrison was persuaded by close friend Eric Clapton to join him on tour with him in Japan. Harrison spent December of that year performing a series of extremely well-received shows that featured his songs, and some of Clapton's as well. It would be his last ever tour, and a memorable one for him. This book/CD box set chronicles the tour with a large-format leather-bound volume that includes a foreword by Eric Clapton, almost 500 previously unpublished photographs, facsimiles of rare memorabilia, a reproduction laminate pass, guitar picks, and specially pressed two-CD set. The foreword by Eric Clapton explains how George was persuaded to return to touring after a break of 17 years. The first (and longest) chapter is written by George himself and details his thoughts and feelings on taking to the road after such a long absence. It includes George's personal recollections of the tour and memories of times on the road with The Beatles. Subsequent chapters are written by each member of Eric Clapton's band and reveal private moments behind the scenes, during sound checks, on stage and in transit. The final chapter by John Harris (who engineered the LIVE IN JAPAN CD) provides a revealing account of working with George Harrison in the studio. The book also includes a full itinerary of the tour.
