Flyer/Handbill: Grateful Dead Rick Griffin HAWAIIAN AOXOMOXOA AOR 3.116 Original Handbill

Offered here is an original blank back handbill (approx. 4 1/4" x 7", and printed prior to the shows) that was used to promote a series of shows at Exhibit in Honolulu. These shows took place July 25-27, 1969, and featured the Grateful Dead & It's A Beautiful Day. This iconic psychedelic image, "HAWAIIAN AOXOMOXOA", comes courtesy of the late Rick Griffin, and is featured in "The Art Of Rock", plate 3.116. This handbill remains in VERY GOOD condition (there is a faint stain in the yellow area in the middle, and a bend in the upper right corner. There are also a couple of very small scratch marks in the inner white circle). In top shape these fetch $1,500+...this one isn't mint, but it's all there and it's the real deal...and it really looks pretty nice (COA provided upon request). This is the very last of a small stash of these I purchased from a lady in Hawaii that owned a book store at the time.
