FIRST CLASS Mail is $3.50 for 1 tape and $3.97 for 2 Tapes; 3 or more tapes will probably ship by Media -- MEDIA MAIL starts at $4 for 1-3 tapes and goes to $6 for ANY number of additional tapes (regularly-priced tapes only; does not apply to Lot Sales).

NOTE 2 - MOST of these tapes will be marked as cutouts (usually on the end of the cart), so just assume that the tape has a small notch or other cutout mark. Also, many of the sealed tapes will have a few small tears in the shrink wrap: I try to note these but even if not in the description, assume the shrink might have some small tears. Also not noted may be a tiny sticker or two on the outside of the shrink wrap.
NOTE 3: When talking about 8-Track Tapes, I'll use the terms 'sleeve' and 'cover' interchangeably.
100% VISUAL grading (occasional test playing will be noted).
8-Track Tapes are NOT guaranteed in any way; EVERY 8-TRACK TAPE IS SOLD 'AS IS'.
CART/TAPE GRADES (from High to Low): M- = looks almost like new; EX (VG++) = a few lite marks on the plastic cartridge and/or a few lite marks, stains, rubs, or bubbles on the label; VG+ = 'used but not abused'; more marks than EX but will still be a presentable cart; VG, G, F, P = increasing marks and blemishes with each lower grade. Any cart may be cutout marked. SLEEVE GRADES: M- = looks almost like new; EX = shows slight wear: very lite ring, rubs, a couple tiny tears and/or bumps; VG+ = used but not abused: more pronounced marks, rubs, bumps, and/or tears; going to VG and G sleeves the blemishes increase in number and severity.

SLEEVES INFO: 'Artbox Sleeve' or 'Artbox Cover' is another name for a Picture Sleeve for an 8-Track. A Company Sleeve is usually designated by having the name of the releasing company on it (RCA, Columbia, etc) or by having a logo or design specific to that company. A Title Sleeve is usually die-cut to show the label on the tape itself and also usually has other information on the back like a track listing. End Cap is a small plastic cap over the 'tape end' -- the United Artists family officially released many of their 8-Tracks with end caps. A Generic Sleeve is just a plain sleeve and some tapes have No Sleeve (NS).

ABBREVIATIONS & NOTES - common: Ampex roller = soft roller (will have to be replaced to play and tiny portion of tape might have to be cleaned); bad roller = Ampex roller; bb = bubble; co = cutout; coh = cutout hole; dh = drillhole; ol = on label; NS = No Sleeve/No Cover; rw = ringwear; scr = scratch; slt = slight or small; soft roller = bad Ampex roller; stkr = sticker; stn = stain; tol/tos = tape on label/seam; tr = tear; woc/wol = writing on cover/label.

PHOTOS / SCANS - If this ad has no photo one may be requested, but I can only post them as time permits -- at best that means maybe once or twice a month. Most artwork on tapes is basically the same that appears on the LP.
This photo is of a tape from my collection: it could a photo of a different copy (I have multiples on a few tapes), however, the item in this ad will look almost identical to the photo and it will be exactly the same as regards the music, label, release company, etc.

QUESTIONS and PHOTOS: I work out of my home but my inventory is not stored here; that's why I only ship 2-3 times a week. So, it may take 3-4 days for me to answer your question; it may take even longer to post a photo. I'm getting around to taking photos for all my items but am doing it in order of descending price: higher priced items will get priority. I usually just don't have time to honor requests for full track listings; if you want to make sure a particular song is on a tape, I can let you know that.

I do not use registered mail - Please choose Express Mail if you want tracking and/or insurance. Express Mail starts at $50.

Import duties, taxes, import charges, and any other Customs fees are not included in the item price nor in my shipping charges. These import / customs charges are the buyer's responsibility -- Please check with your country's customs office to determine what these additional charges will be prior to bidding/buying. These charges are normally collected by the delivering freight (shipping) company or when you pick the item up -- do not confuse them for additional shipping charges. I do not mark merchandise below value for Customs, nor do I mark items as "gifts" -- US and International government regulations prohibit this.

Express Mail includes Tracking service and can be Insured. AGAIN: If Insuring your package, the full value of your package will be declared for Customs and I will ship only to a Confirmed Paypal Address.

POST OFFICE BOXES - If you use a POB address, the USPS says that you must provide a telephone number!

GUARANTEE & Refunds: EVERY 8-TRACK TAPE IS SOLD 'AS IS' -- ALL SALES ARE FINAL -- NO refunds, NO returns, NO credits, NO exchanges. I'm selling the tapes as memorabilia, especially the sealed ones. MOST will play fine, at least at first. Although not all tapes will need work, many tapes could use new pressure pads; some will need new splicing-tape/sensing-foil; some may need new rollers -- especially ones marked as having an 'Ampex roller' or a 'soft roller'. Some tapes may need other work. Please understand and accept this before bidding or buying any 8-track tape.
