Very scarce Belgium-only pressing with totally unique & superior cover of a sixties jam session with well known outstanding musicians across the board. Headliners are Jimmy Page & John Paul Jones of soon to be Led Zeppelin along with Heads Hands & Feet blues guitar legend Albert Lee, plus keyboards wizard Nicky Hopkins plus notable others, together, performing a session consisting mainly of rock & roll songs. The 'group' line-up includes Jimmy Page, Albert Lee, and Jim Sullivan, guitars; John Paul Jones, bass; Clem Cattini, drums; Chris Hughes, reeds; and Nicky Hopkins, keys. Singer David DeGroot has a throaty, bluesy voice, and delivers a strong performance. Since bluesy guitar legend Albert Lee is well-known for his expertise on this kind of material, playing catchy breaks trade offs with Jimmy Page. Highlights include two long, bluesy jam numbers, around the 9 minute mark in "One Long Kiss" and "Burn Up," that sizzle with Page leads, anyone knowing his style will know he's on top of his solos here.
