For sale is this extremely scarce vintage cassette of PAUL McCARTNEY - McCARTNEY (commonly called McCARTNEY I) on Apple Records (1970).
This very rare example is an original 1970 UK 1st Issue cassette of this album. It has a two panel white cover inlay with advertising for other Beatle cassettes including Ringo Starr's "Sentimental Journey" on the inside fold and a 7007 G&L print code denoting a date of July 1970 and manufacture by Garrod and Lofthouse. It has an off-white tape shell with lemon green paper labels. The Side Two label is misprinted and omits the track JUNK. It comes in a seemingly original notched Norelco case. The catalogue number is TC-PCS 7102.
Condition is good: The case is graded VG+ with light wear appropriate for its age. The inlay is VG+ with light wear and signs of handling. The cassette is cosmetically graded G+. It has medium heavy signs of handling and rippling and creasing to the paper labels (still firmly affixed). The original pressure pad is present. This tape has been play tested from start to finish and is graded Excellent (EX) for audio.
