Cassette: Jimmy Cauty PREPARING FOR EMERGENCIES Cassette**RARE BLACKSMOKE ARTWORK* SIGNED

This very rare cassette tape was issued in small numbers as part of an art project by musician and artist Jimmy Cauty (THE ORB / THE KLF/ K FOUNDATION etc) in response to the UK Government's 2004 "Preparing For Emergencies" campaign. Cauty was working at the time with the Blacksmoke Artist Collective and I believe this cassette was one of the specially created pieces of "Terror Aware" merchandise sold at a gift shop installation created at the Aquarium Gallery, London. The cassette contains mischievously re-edited instructions from the official government "Preparing For Emergencies" campaign. It comes in a cardboard slipcase with Blacksmoke "Terror Aware" stamp and is signed by the artist James Cauty on the back. It has been housed in a clear plastic outer jewel case to protect it from wear and is in wonderful condition.

Condition: The outer jewel case is in Mint (M) condition. The slip-case is Near Mint (NM). The cassette is believed to be unplayed and is graded Mint (M) - a beautiful example of this vanishingly rare and collectable cassette.
