An incredible find! It is extremely rare to discover a ticket for Piaf's concerts ... and it's impossible to find a ticket for Piaf at the Olympia Music Hall in Paris.
Here's your chance to own a ticket to Edith Piaf's 1961 season at the Olympia. The ticket is from February 2, 1961 ... Piaf played the Olympia straight through from December 29, 1960 ... to April 1961.
The ticket has a little tear at the top, which the attendant did so that another customer couldn't sneak in on the same ticket. Otherwise, the ticket is in very good condition (in the U.S most tickets are torn in half and missing half of it). The auction includes the Olympia concert program in which the ticket was located. The ticket is not attached to the program. The concert ticket is a good size, it measures approx. 7.62 cm (3 "inches) x 5.08 cm (2" inches).
The auction also comes with a black flyer for Edith, announcing her current records on the reverse. The flyer measures approx. 12.7 CM (5 "inches) x 17.78 CM (7" inches).
