78 rpm: Guns N’ Roses & Faster Pussycat RARE ORIGINAL CONCERT FLYER April 5, 1986 Whisky

Here’s an extremely rare, authentic original flyer for a 1986 show where Guns N’ Roses was second on the bill, behind Faster Pussycat. The show took place on April 5, 1986 at the Whiskey A Go Go (misspelled “Wiskey” on the flyer). It’s 8.5” x 11” and in great condition, although it was folded and has light creases.

I’m selling these flyers for a friend who worked at Moby Disc Records in LA in the 1980s, a local retailer that sold tickets to a lot of these little shows on the Sunset Strip. He picked up most of them at the venues themselves, as they were handed to audience members while they filed out the door. Thankfully, unlike so many others, he threw them in his closet rather than the trash.
