LAST EVER STOCK OF NEW C120s It may be possible to locate stocks of unused 'new' old stock or recycled C120s but these for sale on ebay here are manufactured 2018. Usual branded C120 such as TDK and Sony etc were normally around a generous C125. This is a slightly thicker based tape and has a housing designed to accommodate the mini reel up to C120 maximum without going onto extremely thin tape...However we'd still recommend great care in recording and handling as it's still thin tape and high temperatures for use of these cassettes are best avoided, which is advisable for all cassette tapes really.

Please note due to the very thin thickness of the tape compared to C60 and C90 tape we would not recommend C120 tape for any important or critical recordings due to the higher (higher not high) risk of stretching, snapping or jamming and advise avoidance of any extreme temperatures for recording and storing. However the vast majority of users enjoy many continuous and repeat usage of these tapes without any problems. We offer a free repair service for any broken tapes.

The unbranded variety are not as generous in length as a branded TDK or Maxell for example which would probably have an extra 5 mins added. These C120 are exactly 120 minutes in length, one hour each side and a recorder or tape player running slightly fast could possibly 'shorten' the recording time.

We can also offer a more economical C110 which is 55 minutes each side, if that amount of time is enough there is a considerable saving. Ask and I can list an auction for C110
