This is an original US vinyl pressing on Columbia KC 31903 from 1973. This was his first album. This is a promo copy with a time strip on the bottom of the back cover. The labels are regular Columbia labels ( there were no white label promos of this record).

This album has two of his most famous songs : 'Blinded By The Light' and 'Spirit In The Night'. It's sad that the hit versions were by Manfred Mann's Earth Band : 'Blinded By The Light' hit #1 on 12/18/76 and 'Spirit In The Night' hit # 40 on 6/4/77.

Overall Condition is : Cover is VG+ / Record is M-

The cover is VG+ with no writing and no seam splits. There are no bends or tears on the front flap. There is light partial ring wear at top and bottom center. The vinyl looks near mint and it plays near mint. The labels are perfect with no spindle marks. The record comes in a Columbia inner sleeve.

The songs are : Blinded By The Light, Growin' Up, Mary Queen Of Arkansas, Dose This Bus Stop At 82nd Street?, Lost In The Flood, The Angel, For You, Spirit In The Night, and It's Hard To Be A Saint In The City.

I started collecting records in 1966. I started selling in Goldmine in 1985. I now sell records at all Northwest record conventions : Portland, Seattle, Tacoma, Eugene, Grants Pass, and Canby. And at Crossroads Music in Portland, Oregon. My records are from a no smoking and no pets home.

Packaging :

I take great care on every package and I do each one personally. I will package this record between two pieces of hand cut cardboard. Each piece is 1/2 inch thick, triple strength industrial cardboard. Together they are very strong and unbendable. ( Even the postmen comment on how strong this cardboard is ! ) I always remove the record from the cover and seal them in a clear plastic sleeve. The package will be marked in red : "Fragile Record" on both sides.

Postage : Weight : 1 pound 5 ounces

You have to pay for the postage. I pre-weigh every record, so that you pay the exact amount the post office charges. There are no handling charges. This record will weigh 21 ounces ( 1 pound, 5 ounces ) when ready to ship. US bidders can figure out your own postage costs for US Priority or Media Mail. All US winners will get shipping through Paypal and an automatic email with the tracking number. Overseas bidders must use First Class Mail International. You will get an automatic email with the customs/tracking number. ( Buyers from Brazil must assume all risks for shipping to their country. ) I will send your record as soon as you pay ( same day if before 2 PM and next day if after 2 PM : Monday thru Saturday) I will combine shipping if you win more than one record.
