From the archive of noted James Brown historian, Alan Leeds, this is an original paper handbill from New York's legendary Apollo Theater advertising Brown's appearances December 10th through 15th, 1969.. Folded in half, the inside notes that Brown was donating his earnings that week to supply Christmas food baskets to needy families in Harlem. The back page previews Stevie Wonder's upcoming Apollo run beginning Christmas day.
