Classic Joy Division 10 track album reissued: European UK LP reissue of Unknown Pleasures for the 40th anniversary with 10 classic tracks in NM condition. It was released with a black on white Pulsar textured sleeve, black inner sleeve with original artwork. The vinyl is 180 heavy gram on transparent red, with labels one side white on black, the other black on white. New Order is my favorite band and I collected their catalog as best I could mostly as each release came out, haunting my favorite record store that handled imports in middle America. Ian Curtis, Bernard Sumner, Peter Hook, and Steven Morris formed The Stiff Kittens (mistakenly printed on a gig flyer), Warsaw, and finally the epic Joy Division, that managed a limited amount of quality output that is as relevant today as ever. Ian passed in 1980 and the group New Order began as a new chapter in the lives of the remaining band members, soon to add Gillian Gilbert. The release is produced by Martin Hannett. The classic iconic sleeve is by Peter Saville. Smoke-free home, kept in a resealable Japanese sleeve, minimally played. C ombine auction wins to save on shipping; up to 6 records for $5.
