John Lennon Alt Mixes 12" Acetate w/Trident Studios Label Jealous Guy+1 Beatles
This rare 12" acetate from London has mixes of the two songs, "Jealous Guy" and "Crippled Inside" from the that are radically different from the versions released on the 1971 John Lennon record album "Imagine" .
One side of the acetate has four takes of the song "Crippled Inside" Two of the four cuts of "Crippled Inside" include false guitar starts not included on the final released version. In my opinion, all four of the cuts of "Crippled Inside" are pre Phil Spector produced mixes.
The other side of the 12 inch acetate contains two takes of the song "Jealous Guy" by John Lennon. Both of the takes are different mixes than are on the final version of John Lennon's 1971 "Imagine" record album. The mixes of "Jealous Guy" lack the Phil Spector style instrumentation that exists on the released version of the 1971 "Imagine" album.
It is in a strong VG+ to Near Mint condition.
