This auction is for an original December, 1977 Concert Bill for the grand opening of the CBGB's 2nd Avenue Theater. 8 page flyer features local ads and write ups for the bands performing at the theater during the last week of December, 1977 including Richard Hell and The Voidoids, Talking Heads, and the Dead Boys. Handbill is in nice condition, showing some flaws you would find with 40+ year old paper: some stress marks, some fold lines, and some minor handling at edges. (See Photos.) Staple is a little loose, but it p resents well, and all pages are complete and intact with fairly crisp graphics. Item will be sent in a cardboard mailer to protect it. Please see photos.
