This is an original authentic (printed before the concert) handbill / flyer /radio survey advertising
THE SUPREMES, Johnny Rivers, The Seeds, BUFFALO SPRINGFIELD (Neil Young, Stephen Stills, Bruce Martin, Jim Messina but without Bruce Palmer who had been deported for marijuana possession), Brenda Holloway, The 5th Dimension
appearing April 29, 1967 at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles, California. The handbill measures 6 1/2 x 5 1/4 inches and is in Near Mint Minus condition, upper left corner bump and a tiny dot in the lower left corner. Please see my scans for an accurate description report.
Buffalo Springfield flew down from San Francisco to play their 4-song set then flew back to SF to play their Fillmore set. They opened their set with Pay the Price, followed it up with Nowadays Clancy Can't Even Sing, then their hit, For What It's Worth and closed with the debut of what was expected to be their followup single, Mr. Soul.
This handbill does double duty as a weekly radio survey for Boss 30 / KHJ radio for the week of April 5, 1967 on the back side. These were distributed folded in half vertically but this one is unfolded making it extra rare! A truly spectacular piece of rock and roll history!!!
