Kyouko Honma, Junko Tanaka - Hanayome Ningyou (Bridal Doll)
(Japan Teichiku T-505) 1954 or so
Toyo Kasei company of Yokohama acquired a production patent in 1953.
(Only Toyo Kasei still produces vinyl records in Asia.)
And Kanariya records (Kyoto) released gramophone picture disc
as commercial production for the first time in Japan.
Japan Victor and Teichiku competed following it.
This record expresses the unique yearning for the old days feeling
that Japanese nostalgic design has.
We can confirm that Japan switched over from militarism to democracy
from these pure and innocent designs.
