Vinyl: ELVIS PRESLEY ~ 1956 ~ Record "MYSTERY MAILER" ~ RARE! RARE! RARE! ~ Must Have!

You are bidding on the ELVIS PRESLEY 1956 Record Mailer pictured above. Also known as the MYSTERY MAILER. This is one of the rarest Elvis items there is. So far as I know there are only 3 others besides this one that are known. This is the only one I have seen in person. I bought it about 5 years ago from a person in San Diego. He said that he got it at a Radio Station auction a long time ago. I bought this and other items from him that came from the radio station that included 2 copies of the white labeled one sided Old Shep, The rare Sound Of Leadership Miami 1956 Souvenir box set, and a stack of Elvis 33 and 45 promo records and radio spot records for Elvis movies. All of those were 100% authentic! I have included a photo of a known reproduction of the mailer for comparison. As you can see it looks different. The main difference being that the artwork does not fill the entire sleeve. It stops short on both sides and the top. I have consulted numerous other Elvis collectors and none of them can say for sure. The main reason being that we don't have one in hand for comparison. However, it for sure does NOT match the known reproductions. The paper looks, feels, and smells correct for 1956. There are a couple of water stains and a little foxing and discoloration from age. In my opinion this mailer is authentic. I have not yet found anybody who can say otherwise.
