Original 1st press OZ LP released in 1975 on the Blue & yellow Alberts label with Roo. Cat: APLP009. Matrix Numbers: YAPAX1177/ YAPAX1178. Has Broonzy credit for track one side one and on back of cover.
AC/DC were a very young band who were still coming into their own at the time, and that process of self-discovery is what makes the original version of High Voltage both the most inconsistent and unique of all the Bon Scott albums. Fans may also be interested to learn that Malcolm Young played his only known lead breaks for AC/DC on this release, trading solos with Angus on "Soul Stripper" before taking full charge of "Show Business"; and that bass guitar and drum duties were handled by elder brother George Young and one Tony Kerrante, respectively not the yet-to-arrive Mark Evans / Phil Rudd rhythm section.

There are a few light spindle marks on labels. Record has some light scuff marks and very light scratches that cause some light crackles in parts and plays in VG+ condition. Cover has some ringwear, a name written on top left corner, light scuffing on corners, some tiny surface tears aroudn edges and the start of a smalls eam split on centre of spine and is in VG+ condition.

Wrapping method: All records are sent in stiff cardboard mailers then wrapped in brown paper and sealed around edges with brown packaging tape. Records are taken out of sleeve to avoid seam splits and ring wear.
