For sale: Very rare, very early CHUCK BERRY (as Charles E. Berry) 1949 St. Louis, MO. concert program. For a "Harlem in St. Louis" benefit show. Chuck was billed as: "Charles E. Berry.....Blues, on his electric guitar (and his famous recitation)." One year after his marriage to Themetta Suggs and years before joining the Johnnie Johnson Trio. He signed with Chess in 1955. Perhaps the earliest printed publicity for Mr. Berry? One of a kind. Please bid accordingly. No Reserve.
