Reel-to-reel: Original recording studio tape of tracks from Queen album "A Night At The Opera"
Ultra-rare, original Sarm Studios tape of legendary rock group Queen performing 9 songs that appeared on their album "A Night At The Opera", including "Bohemian Rhapsody", one of the most iconic rock/pop songs of all time. The professional 1/4 inch, 15 ips, stereo tape is in excellent condition and the sound quality is first class, as one would expect from a 15 ips studio tape taken directly from the master tape.
The tape is on a 10.5 inch reel in an EMI Tape box with a Sarm Studios label on the front. It is dated 12/11/75 (November 12th, 1975 - nine days before the official release of the album). The track sequence on the tape follows the listing given on the back of the box (as below and shown on the photos), not the front label. It is one continuous tape and is not spliced anywhere. The box is slightly tatty.

Based in Notting Hill, London, Sarm Studios recorded some of the tracks for "A Night At The Opera" (including "Bohemian Rhapsody"), and, in addition, they were the studios who mixed all the tracks for the final master tape of the album, which was released by EMI on November 21st, 1975.
I have recorded the tracks from the tape onto a CD-R using a professional Teac reel-to-reel tape machine and a professional Tascam CD recorder (this CD-R will also be included with the original reel-to-reel tape; it will only be supplied to the winner and will not be made available to anyone else).
