In 1998, after the release of Adore, Puff Daddy aka Puffy aka P. Diddy aka Diddy aka Sean Combs remixed two songs for The Smashing Pumpkins - Ava Adore and Perfect. For the longest time neither of the remixes were available until 2014 when SP reissued Adore and the remix for Ava Adore was included. But to date, his remixes for Perfect have never officially been released.
In 1998 though Virgin made a few 3 track in-house promo CDs of three alt mixes of his Perfect remix. Who knows why, maybe it was meant for commercial release at one point - but Virgin decided to destroy all acetates. And at this point only two of these in-house promos are accounted for. I have one, and SPFreaks has the other. As you can see in the photos, this is a gold CDR acetate, with the text written with a black marker.
