I bought this MONO BEATLES WHITE ALBUM (LOW NUMBER 0008113) in 1968 and it has been in my possession ever since. It was made in the United Kingdom and is on the APPLE Label. Catalogue Number PMC 7067/8 with a top opening laminated gatefold cover with THE BEATLES embossed on the front cover and the low No. 0008113 in the bottom right corner. The original black linings are in place and in very good condition, no tears and the four pictures of the individual Beatles are in excellent condition. The poster is in good condition but, as it has been folded up for 54 years, has sign of wear with small holes on the corner folds. Please see last picture. There is discolouration on the spine and edges of the cover with signs of wear on the corners. Please check the photos carefully for detail. This is a first pressing. The records are in very good, shiny condition with hairline surface scratches that do not affect the playing of the records.
The label has ' Sold In The UK........ text. No mention of EMI and the Matrix numbers are XEX 709-1 ( side 1 ), XEX 710-1 ( side 2 ), XEX 711-1 ( side 3 ) and XEX 712-1 ( side 3 ). The labels are in very good condition.

I always cleaned my records before playing and still do. I haven't played this album in the last 50 years so I have just checked it out on my Linn Sondek. There are light surface scratches on each disc which give a slight surface noise in places, more noticeable between tracks. Each record plays through without sticking or jumping. The last side ( side 4 ) has several scratches ( photo 10 ). These scratches do not affect the playing but again there is a slight background noise.

I am not an expert in this field and have tried my best to describe this iconic album. Please feel free to ask any questions you may have.
