Victor Young Brunswick Orch - George White's Scandals Medley - Brunswick 20102
Brunswick Records 20102 - Victor Young and the Brunswick Orchestra - Gems From George White's Scandals - VG+ Condition - This record has a couple of very small needle runs that may cause it to skip. It plays really good with a 3.0 mil elliptical truncated stylus but there are two skip / pops that are noticeable. This is a GREAT RECORD with vocals by TOP 1930's Music Stars (see description below).

Side 1 - Songs on this side: Life Is Just A Bowl Of Cherries - This Is The Missus (both sung by The Boswell Sisters) - The Thrill Is Gone (sung by Bing Crosby) - My Song (sung by Frank Munn)
Side 2 - Songs on this side: That's Love (sung by The Boswell Sisters) - That's Why Darkies Were Born (sung by Frank Munn) - Life Is Just A Bowl Of Cherries (sung by The Mills Brothers / Connie Boswell / Bing Crosby)

78's are graded using the VJM system:

N: As new.
N-: Nearly Mint, but has been played. No visible signs of wear or damage.
E+: Plays like new, with very, very few signs of handling, such as tiny scuffs from being slipped in and out of jackets.
E: Still very shiny, near new looking, with no visible signs of wear, but a few inaudible scuffs and scratches.
E-: Still shiny but without the lustre of a new record, few light scratches.
V+: Average condition 78 in which scuffs and general use has dulled the finish somewhat. Wear is moderate but playing is generally free from distortion. Surface noise not overly pronounced.
V: Moderate, even wear throughout, but still very playable. Surface noise and scratches audible but not intrusive.
V-: Quite playable still, but distortion and heavy greying in loud passages. Music remains loud in most passages. Surface noise and scratches well below music level.
G+: Grey throughout but still serviceable. Music begins to sound muffled. Heavy scratches.
G:.Quite seriously worn and scratched, but music level is still higher than surface noise.

The records are used and very old, so they may have minor wear or possibly major wear. Please refer to the above grading scale that details out the condition of the record. Depending on your phonograph set up and stylus size being used, the sound quality will vary and record could possibly skip. Any record noted as VG+ or less has some usual wear, so there are no guarantees how well it will play. I will always note if a record has a dig or needle run on it since that would affect the record playing. I have been collecting 78's for many years and have found that 90% or more of them play without skipping. However, it may require you to have several size stylus in order for it to play properly.
