This is an EXTREMELY RARE opportunity to acquire the contents of a LIMITED EDITION DELUXE FAN PACKAGE, released by Foo Fighters to celebrate the release of their 2011 album, Wasting Light.
This package was only available to fans through foofighters.com and was LIMITED TO JUST 500 SETS. Here is what the winning bidder will receive:
– Limited edition 15 inch x 15 inch Wasting Light lithograph, HAND-NUMBERED (#268/500) and SIGNED by Dave Grohl, Taylor Hawkins, Pat Smear, Chris Shiflett & Nate Mendel. The lithograph has been professionally framed in a made-to-measure black frame.
- – INDIVIDUALLY NUMBERED (#395/500) acrylic 3 inch x 5 inch, crystal clear display case and stand with beveled edges, UV protection, and gold screws. The case displays a piece of the original Wasting Light master tape. As Grohl said at the time: “ We recorded the record in my garage to analogue tape, and probably wound up with 20-30 reels of tapes. At the end of the session I thought it would be an extraordinary move to destroy all the masters and give the pieces of the tapes to the fans”. The case is laser engraved with the Foo Fighters logo and "Foo Fighters Wasting Light" text.

1) Do you have some more photos? I've added a few more photos to the listing, trying to minimise the amount of light glare. It's difficult to get a photos without my own reflection in them and I'm extremely reluctant to take the lithograph out of the frame (see answer 3 below) but hopefully the new photos are a bit better.
2) How did you acquire the bundle and are you the original owner? Yes, I'm the original owner. I acquired this deluxe fan bundle directly from the Foo Fighters web store in 2011. I was a member of the Foo Fighters Postboard which is where I heard about it. As far as I'm aware, there wasn't any promotion at all for these bundles but, as soon as a link was posted by an eagle-eyed fan to the Postboard, all 500 packages sold out within a day or two to those 'in the know'.
3) What is the condition of the items? Everything is exactly the same condition as I received it. The segment of tape came from the Wasting Light CD. I took the tape out of the CD package and put it straight into the display case. The same goes for the lithograph; it came straight out of the cardboard tube it was sent in, into the frame and has been safely in there ever since.
