Up for sale is A 7-INCH 1/4-TRACK DEMO REEL OF SONGS WRITTEN BY EMILIO CASTILLO AND STEVE KUPKA OF TOWER OF POWER FAME. This tape was found in a garage of an abandoned house during clean-up operations. We believe this tape was recorded sometime in the late 60's or early 70's. It contains 6 songs, only 1 of which ever made it onto a TOP album. That song is "You're So Wonder, So Marvelous" that was released in 1975 on the "IN THE SLOT" Album. However, the version on this tape is not the same. It appears to be a different vocalist and different instrumentation.
There is another song on this collection that was recorded and released by Glenn Walters on his "King of Retro Cool" album. The song is "Yo' Love is Far Out," a song I wish Tower of Power had actually released, but Glenn does a great job.
