Mosaic MD6-190 is The Django Reinhardt and Quintet of the Hot Club of France Swing / HMV Sessionis 1936-1948 a 6 CD limited edition box set. This massive undertaking is real beauty. From the 28 page booklet containing extensive liner notes, sessionography, and discography, to the wonderful photographs, many previously unpublished, to the packaging - a real stunner! And the music... The Hot Club of France was Django, Stephane Grappelli, as well as various other musicians. ~ Like all Mosaic box sets, this one is a model for box set packaging. The six CDs are packaged in a 12x12 box with a stunning photograph on the front. The box contains extensively researched and well-written notes by Reinhardt scholar Mike Peters. in a beautiful 28 page booklet supplemented with excellent photographs. In addition to putting these recordings in proper historic perspective, the author includes complete details regarding recording date and personnel. This Mosaic set was limited to 7500 copies, which sold out quickly. Like many Mosaic sets, this one now sells for many times it's original price because jazz collectors place such a high value of Mosaic box sets for their packaging and excellent sound quality. ~ Highly recommended for the music and the collectors edition value. The box has some very minor shelf rubbing, but is fully intact, and nice. NM The CDs are packaged in 3 double jewel boxes. This is a PROMO set and in the line where there should be a number, is the hand-writing; Promo. The booklet is NM. STUNNING!!

We package our LPs in a thick cardboard LP mailer. We ALWAYS take the LP out of the jacket to
avoid any seam splitting that could occur in shipment. We put the LP and the jacket in an LP plastic sleeve.
We float the LP between cardboard and 2 sheets of bubble wrap. We use shipping tape on all
spines to protect the integrity of the box, and to insure the safety of the contents.
All this is included in the low shipping price. We will clean your purchase on our
VPI machine if and when necessary. This insures that you receive your item in the best possible condition.

LP Box Set SHIPPING
We use the US Postal Service’s Media Mail for shipping in the U.S.
The buyer pays a shipping, packing (see above) and handling fee of $4.00 for the first
12"or LP and 50c for each additional item in the same package. This package is
a 5 LP set, so the cost for shipping in the US is $6.00
This includes USPS delivery confirmation (US only), box & packing material.

Shipping to other countries is by the United States Postal Service's First Class Mail International.
The rates for overseas is $18.00 for the first item, with an added $4.00 for each additional album, so
this set will be $34 to ship. We will refund any significant difference in any real cost.

Shipping to Canada is $14.00 for the first item, with an added $2.50 for each additional album,
which makes this set $24.00 to Canada.

We will refund any significant difference in any real cost.
