Is this Item a Fake or Counterfeit?
This piece was signed at an in-store appearance Los Angeles to promote the release of "Ready to Die." It was on September 13, 1994. It is in an irridescent metal frame with black and red inlay mat and UV protective glass. It is not glued, just set in two pre-cut mats. It is wired to hang. The piece was signed at Wherehouse Records 457 at Rodeo and La Brea. The place is now a shoe store or something, but it once was the epicenter of music cluture in that area and famous for having a massive stock of soul and hip-hop. The second picture shows me getting the poster signed in my baggy jeans with a hockey shirt (tucked in smh). This piece is part of a huge hip-hop collection I have amassed from years working with various acts. Time for it to find a new home. It's a piece of hip hop history. Not a reprint or a PP. This is the real deal. Fun Fact: After the event Biggie was walking in the back parking lot with his entourage from Arista and Bad Boy. He asked the security guard if he could see his gun and Biggie proceeded to fire it into the air. No one was injured and no one was arrested. I think the security guard might have lost his job though. On Nov-27-16 at 16:26:11 PST, seller added the following information:
