Terry David Russell (who managed to misspell his own last name on this tape)
was an obscure British Columbia singer-songwriter who released a private LP in 1979.
One of the songs is on YouTube. It's not bad.
Here we have his presumably first effort on a homemade tape.
His own handwritten note says it all.
The songs are his own originals, but they're not terribly unique.
James Taylor meets Tim Buckley meets Jim Croce. Some good melodies.
There is a band backing him up.
This tape is exceedingly rare, possibly the only copy ever made.
I don't know how to connect my boombox to the computer,
so please don't ask for audio samples.
