Johnny Cash sings his Jamaican favorites
"The Ballad of Annie Palmer" and
"The Worried Man." This rare 45rpm vinyl
7 inch record was issued to raise money for
the children at Rose Hall's S.O.S. Village
in Jamaica.
Side One: I'm A Worried Man 2:11
Side Two: The Ballad Of Annie Palmer 3:07
The country music star actively supported
the construction of this SOS Children's Village.
It was built on a plot of land in Barrett Town,
Jamaica near the Cash family holiday home.
Johnny Cash passed on 12 September 2003,
four months after the death of his wife June Carter.
His family asked that flowers not be taken to his grave.
They were asked to make donations to SOS Children's
Villages USA instead.
