RARE, RARE, King Crimson, "In The Court of The Crimson King", promo mono LP. Condition is "Used". Rarely does this mono lp come up for sale. It has been estimated that approximately only 200 copies of this mono version were ever produced. None were produced as stock copies. By Goldmine standards, I grade the cover between VG and VG+, with no taped seams, and just a 1/4" top seam split as shown. There is wear on the edges of the spine, also as shown, with some of the spine wording eroded. The front cover does include the transparent front cover sticker, and the round promotional monaural sticker, both in excellent shape. The record itself has NM labels, with glossy vinyl having light sleeve scuffs that can be seen mostly under a bright light. The record minimally plays VG+, and generally better. Please note, that if you’re checking the most recent price guide values, they’re way understated, as the most recent copy, exactly documented as this one, cover, and record, in similar grades, sold in 2019 on eBay for $4,000, per Popsike, the internet site that monitors the sale of significant records on the web.
