CD: Merciless – The Awakening CD – ANTI-MOSH 001 – ORG second pressing – no boot!

I sell some very valuable items from my personal collection. All CDs are originals. They have been handled with care and kept in a smoke-free environment at all times.

"The Awakening" by Swedish death-thrash pioneers MERCILESS was the first album released on Norway's legendary DEATHLIKE SILENCE PRODUCTIONS label (originally run by Euronymous of Mayhem).

The version on offer here was issued in the mid-1990s (ca. 1997). It is largely identical with the original first 1993 CD pressing (the vinyl version was released three years earlier, in 1990), but has a different matrix code as well as two IFPI numbers: https://www.discogs.com/Merciless-The-Awakening/release/4661074

It has a MUCH better dynamic range than the remaster released by Osmose.

Given that the 1993 pressing is sold for prices ranging from EUR 190 to EUR 290 on Discogs, this version here is worth at least EUR 100 or more.

Please read the below description carefully and have a close look at my high-resolution images. As a collector (and a bit of a pedant), I try to be as accurate as possible. I grade conservatively, using the Discogs grading system (fair/good/good+/very good/very good+/near mint/mint).

• Disc: near mint (the playing surface is immaculate, only the outer rim/non-data area has a few tiny scuffs)
  
• Paper inserts: very good+ (the upper-right-hand corner of the booklet is very slightly creased, and there are two microscopic, barely visible indentations from the knob-like booklet stoppers)
  
• Jewel case: very good+ (minimal shelf wear, very nice and clean)
